No message. It was electronic and when we said "hello" the electronic voice said "goodbye". We called back and when the call was answered, the voice said our long distance company cannot connect the call.
Appears to be a scam of some sort.

wants to refurbish your house - had three calls from them so far, even asked to stop but it doesnt work.

THey hang up before you can ask them to remove you from the call list. Call all the time, break the law, are extremely rude and are driving me crazy. Great business model.

Caller claims to be "Alan Goodman," an electrical contractor in Anaheim, looking for work. Told in no uncertain terms to put me on his do-not-call list and never call me again.

Name and story are likely bogus. California Contractors State License Board has no Alan (or Allan) Goodman in Anaheim.

Next call becomes actionable.

Call and hang up.  Spoofed spam of course - this is not even a valid phone number
