I just got a call and hangup when my answering machine picked up.  My caller ID shows League City, TX.

A gentleman calls and tells me that he is a Officer and has a warrant for my arrest because of unpaid monies to the IRS.  I can barely understand him because of the heavy accent.  Do not fall for this call.  I do not owe the IRS any money.

We just received the same call...Officer Steven Smith (however, had a very thick hard to understand foreign accent) and stated he was from the IRS claiming he had a warrant for arrest for not paying taxes.  League City, TX came up on the caller id.

Multiple calls from this number claiming to be officer Bob calling saying he is IRS. Called back to question them and he hung up.
