I saw an add on Craigslist for a housekeeper/ personal assistant for $16.00 an hour. I called the phone number (713) 396-0352, and it was a google phone number. "Mr. Carter" did not answer so I left a detailed message with my name and number. Hours later I receive a text message saying " 10hrs per week ,Mon-friday @$250 per week light cleaning and errands". I was so excited due to the fact that I had just lost my job and I have an 11 month old. He told me he needed to do a background check, and claimed he needed my name, dob, and address. I willingly gave him my information and he told me he'd get back to me first thing in the morning. Now here I am.. devastated beyond all measure on this website. I can't believe people can be so heartless. Now I'm going to have to play the waiting game to see what he needed that information for.

my boyfriend told me he found job that paid $250 per week for 10-12 hrs of easy work.
RULE #1: if it sound to good to be true, it probably is.
He kept texting this person back and forth so I asked him more about it. First of all this person doesn't have a real number so I googled it, sure enough I found this page. He said this person asked for his name, DOB, and address to run a background check.   My bf gave him the info! ugh! You need a SSN for a real background check.  Oh well it was done. Then the guy starts telling my bf about receiving deliveries that are "cash only." He started talking about transferring money and wanting to know info regarding my bf's bank acct.  We blocked his number.
