Got a call referring to this number. A  "Robert Durton Independent  Process Server" says he will be at one's home on such a day and threatens further legal action if one is not home at the time. He asks you to call the above number for more info or resolve legal issue--I assume to scam you for money and out of fear.  Called the guy and it is the same voice as Robert.  Stand up to him and he falls apart  like a house of cards.  Shut this creep down, folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got the same message as referenced above. When I notified him I was an fcc lawyer he hung up immediately. That's never a good sign. (FYI I am not that but it's a pretty good way to freak a scammer out)

Continues to call my business phone asking for my husband, leaves a robotic sounding voice message and says he's an independent process server and if we're not home to accept whatever it is they're serving him with there will be legal penalties. Gives a case number as well. We've had a call from a blocked number, a female caller who leaves a voice mail with the same message and with the number (713) 352-7371 to call back and "settle this matter." Poor woman couldn't even read her script without faltering.

My parents got a call saying I ( Im 41) have a lawsuit and blah blah blah. I have been living out of the country for almosot 7 years. If you look up the phone number on 411.com you will see that it is a Voip phone so even though the area code is 713 which is houston they could be anywhere in the world running this scam. It is illegal for a collector to give any information about a debt someone has to an outside party unless authorized by the debtor. This is a Scam.

Robotic message with case number. I called number back and guy threatening lawsuit for some old debt( already paid 10 years ago) can't give history, account number, dates, or services. I invited him to personally serve me. I would drive and meet him anywhere and anytime. He hung up
