WOW, so many people dislike AHS. I got a home warranty with my home purchase and called them once (my heat pump stopped working). The contractor came in and fixed it. I only paid the $55 copay. The contractor's bill was for about $400. I had no problems with them and I am now actually thinking about renewing.

It appears that American Home Shield is also calling me to continue my home warranty.  Not a big issue if it wasn't on my work phone.  No message left... just a harrassing ring!
