Yup..got a call today, March 8th on my cell...luckily didn't answer it...

I just got this number on my cell but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I looked up and found this. I thought it was illegal for telemarketers to call cells...

I just recieved a call from this number. It is still illegal for telemarketers to autodial consumers...I am looking into this further. Due to the fact that we are charged for the calls, they are held liable to at least $500 per infraction paid to the party who was called.

I am getting their information.

Question for everyone - I always get calls from this number and never pick up - is everyone using a Verizion cell phone who recieves these calls?

I get calls from telemarketer slime on my Verizon cell phone all the time. I never answer unless I recognize the number/area code and they usually don't leave any messages. I suspect that someone who was pissed at me put my number into telemarketer hell. Question is, how do I stop it short of changing my cell number?
