Repidly calls

Do not give out any information to this person! He said I had won a $1000 shopping spree and a $125 gift card. He just kept talking and talking, and I really should have just hung up right away. Then he wanted my credit card number....I told him I was suspicious, and he got mad and asked why I was so suspicious about this great offer. and I told him to stop being such a jerk and then I hung up. Told me he was calling from LA...yeah right, my caller ID area code was 712....that is not LA.

Just got the call, did a look-up and found this site.  I won a free gas card and $1,000.00 shopping spree,.. Yea, I passed on it. Sounded like the guy from Borat????

Im back with more info:
(712) 429-0255
Type: Land Line
Provider: Aventure Communication Technology L.l.c
Location: Sloan, IA

Due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider.

I think they are just replacing their number after each scam.. BTW, it really does sound like Borat !!!

the Borat-esque person ("Michael") told me that I won $125 gas card and a trip, asked for birthday information to "verify that I'm over 19", when I would only tell him the year but not the month and date, he hanged up.

also got an earlier missed call from 712-429-0346, sounds like they've got a bunch of those numbers where they're calling from.
