Always calling, especially in the evening. Never leaves a message and if I just happen to answer, they hang up.

Same thing happened to me last night at 8:02PM Central. I googled the number last night and it came up with a Carmen Olson in Iowa. Googled it again this morning and that number is nowhere to be found. What gives? Scammer?

They've been calling all day.  I work for a cellular company and have had complaints on similar numbers in the past.  Generally, they are scam calls.  Sometimes they even ask for credit card or bank information.  Sooner or later, the number will be reported and removed.  You can actually contact your cellular company and report the number as spam.  They will further investigate the issue.

Now I'm also getting calls from 859 734 9112.  Like number 712 256 2493, they leave no message.  I've called both numbers and receive "the number is no longer in service" message.  After researching the 859 734 number, I find others are also complaining, stating it's a company offering extended car warranties.  Last month, I actually talked to a lady who made this same offer.  The number that displayed wasn't either of the listed number above.  She claimed she wanted to offer me extended coverage on a car I recently purchased.  My car is an 01, and I've made not other purchases.  She was simply phishing for information.  I'm sure we can expect more calls using different numbers.
