My caller ID showed ILLINOIS CALLER from this unknown phone number. I did not answer and no message was left.

Other reports have said this is a scam operating using a VOIP connection (voice over internet protocol = a computer phone call) and that it is a supposed bill collector from Mokena, IL -- Mokena is a small town east of Joliet, SW of Chicago. If it is a legit debt collector, why call me? I'd block the call, but they'll probably just make up another VOIP number and call again if they think they have any chance of getting any money from me..

Caller id said unavailable. Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. If it's legitimate, I assume they'll leave a message, so I don't even answer unrecognizable numbers anymore.
