pretty much the same stuff been hapening to my busniess. after i told them i was too buisy to talk they called back and my employee got some info from them for me to call back. i never did of course and now i get calls that just hang up on me. my business gets sales from the telephone and they are tying my phone up costing me money.

I got the phone call as well just now. Good thing my boss just stepped out. Next time I get the call, I'll do exactly what Redbags did.

I have gotten the same thing and one of the not so smart employees left a voice mail laughing at how they prank people I have it saved so feel free to email me and I will forward it to everyone.. Got a call from this number yesterday. Called it back and it said it was from the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police or something like that, very hard to hear the recorded message. The recording also gave a 1-800-379-2098 "customer care" call back number. The guy I talked to (I got a name but I figure it's fake) was the rudest person ever. First he asked to speak to an ex employee that he apparently had on record as being the owner. When I told him she was not, he demanded to know the owner's name and when I asked him who he was calling on behalf of he got extremely rude with me. Last I checked we have a right to know that? I also informed him we were on the do not call list (and we are). He completely ignored that. Going to look into it further today and hopefully file a report if I get enough information.

if they call on cel-attach distinctive ring, and don't answer, listen to the recording,at your leisure,when you pick up regular messages, and so do not incur extra charges  just for "pests".
