Received call from this number on a Sunday morning, 7/17/2016, caller Id displayed, Fort Bragg, CA.  It seemed to be a recording, but the recording sounded close to being the voice of a real person, kind of deceptive.  The recorded voice was male, had a bit of a southern accent, and was fundraising for the police, said a decal would arrive in the mail, and could they count on my support.  I requested to be put on their do not call list, a bit of delay in recording, and then he replied it would take 72 hours!  Must be a scam!  Do not donate $!

caller ID  said local call but is was a different area code than mine.  At first asked for my ex by first name and when I told him not to call here anymore he asked for the lady or man of the house.  Every time I posed a question there was a pause  I would guess it was an interactive robo call. When I said I wouldn't give them any money the reply, after a pause, was "that's OK, maybe next time". Isn't it amazing what technology can do these days.

"Is (name deleted) there?"

didn't answer, no message, blocked them. Local call area? Hardly. Scammers. Police don't solicit money over the phone

Getting calls from this number.  No caller ID, they just breathe on the phone and then hang up.  Never say anything.  Creeps!
