This number called - did not leave voicemail. When calling the number back it says the number has been disconnected.

Thanks to other posters for insight on this one.
Did not identify themselves, called asking for someone by first name in our household. I advised them that they'd reached Operator 76, that all calls on this line are recorded, and I requested their "access protocol." Click!

The person (who had an Asian Indian accent) on the line asked for me by name and I inquired how he got my name and number and he stated "the state." He asked me if I had ever been on blood thinners and I told him to take me off his call list and don't call back. He hung up, but I did get another call from the same number this afternoon. I am blocking the number. The call "originates" from California. When I tried to call the number, it is disconnected.

Just got same thing on my cell ,no answer to when I attempted to pick up, and left no voice mail. SCAM TO THE MAX! !!

Received a call from this number +1 202-559-7671 claiming they were from the irs saying I did not file my taxes correctly and that I owed over 3,000 dollars. And if I didn't want to go to jail that I had to pay the amount. They wanted me to send a monygram to a name they gave me. Also told me not to tell anyone about what was going on. They asked how much I had in my account, then said to take it all out any send through money gram. I almost fell for this scam.
