I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.  This is one of those.

Name on screen was "Napa California". Not exactly a name for a person or telephone owner so we let it ring. It appears the caller listened to the answering machine but obviously did not leave a message as requested. Clearly a dishonest operation

Most of these scammers are simply trying to get a recording from you with the word "yes" or "yeah" in your voice.  Once they have that, they can point to that as "proof" that you agreed to whatever scam that they are pushing.  If you leave an anti-spammer voice message on your machine, keep that in mind on the recording.
