I got it about the same time. My phone said the call was from Augusta. Of course, I think solicitors have a way to show a different city from that which the call really originated. I don't know anyone in Augusta, but I have received several solicitor calls from Augusta. They come from Columbus and all over the state. I believe this was from a solicitor. My number one rule is don't answer a call if I don't recognize the number or person calling (though less and less do they identify themselves or company because of caller ID). Finally, I check 800notes.com. If someone has posted on the number, I block the number to prevent future calls.

Did not answer call and never do when I don't recognize the number.  When people call and don't leave a message you know they're solicitors. I then change the caller id associated with this number to "do not answer" for when they call back. This reminds me that the number was already checked and lets the rest of the household know the call is not important.
