This number called my business phone number and I heard nothing on the other end of the line.  I called back and the following automated recording played: "This is the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation automated service system.  Our fundraising efforts are now underway, and we'll be calling you back to calling you is the most cost-effective way to reach our goals.  If you want, call our customer service center at (800) 704-1642."

Apparently it's a charity with a call center doing their calls.  Either way, it's annoying as hell.

Yes.. I get a strange feeling they are scamming. But not sure. They were VERY pushy, and wouldn't tell me how they got my business number. We are a military family, so some of the stuff the first lady said was fishy. And then when she forwarded me to 'her manager', he was just as pushy. Kind, but not very good at listening. When I finally gave him an official, hard, NO, he got rude and hung up. He wanted my personal credit card info! I wasn't about to give that out! When I asked if I could call him back later in the day when I wasn't so busy, he said he doesn't have a number to give out, that only his 'secretaries' can contact him. Riiiiight. Nice try.

They called me again today and I told them they had already called me once and then hung up.

Just got a call and they hung up when I answered. Caller ID said Omega Services.
