Another number under that umbrella scam of a "law office" calling you about a "legal matter" where they try to extort money from you.  If you're unfamiliar with this form of illegal activity, don't believe a word of it.  This is not in any way legitimate.  There are (likely) dozens of various phone numbers involved in this same scam where people wiser than me on this site explain it fully.

2 calls - some nasty woman said she was calling from UPS to confirm that I would be home to sign for some documents...... as I expecting some legal papers ( my husband just passed away) I said I would be home ( I am disabled and rarely leave the house.  Then she wanted me to call a number she was going to give me to " settle this matter before it became a legal matter". I asked who they were from and she would not answer me.  I said I'm not calling anyone unless you tell me where they are from and she said "United Processing Service".  I told her if they gave papers for me just deliver them to my house and do not call back again and hung up on her.   This was s a standard scam going around in Illinois lately... saying they are calling from "UPS" making you believe it's the delivery company.  TOTAL EXTORTION SCAM!!!!!!!!!

Just received call from them. Didn't answer. Left voice mail saying basically same thing they did to you.

I am ready to change my number! For six months I have been getting escalating calls from various places across the US. The first call I was supposed to call another number to find out What was happening. A few months later One from NV left a voicemail about sending papers between 10-1 m-f. And then this number called and and as soon as she butchered my last name, I hung up. How do we get this to stop???
