Debt collectors have no such authority, only your state DMV can suspend your license. Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

I received a phone call from this number saying it was a legal matter from my grandparents home, them shortly after they called my home and would not tell my boyfriend who they were, so he hung up and they still tried to call. I've had a few fraud calls previously.

I CURRENTLY RECIECED THE SAME CALL BUT AT MY SISTER INLAW HOUSE.. ASKING FOR ME BY MY MADIEN NAME. I WAS WONDERING HOW THEY GOT HER NUMBER IVE NEVER GIVEN OUT HER NUMBER.

I received a call from 704-594-7285 today (08/14/13) at my office. I do not know how they got my office number. This is FRAUD!!! They are saying that I being served, but yet they are located in North Carolina! When you are served, you do not receive a phone call, but someone will knock on your door! The man said his name was Tony Martin.
