called my 11year old daughters phone 2x

Got a call about 11:30 this morning. Message stats this is for Shirley Crain, my mom.

They called here asking about someone that has the same last name!  Did I mention that it was very early too and they woke up the baby?  GRRRRRR

Called asking if I lived in a state that I don't live in and proceeded to ask if I was related to a person since we have the same last name.  Called WAY too early in the morning and had bad information.

They called last week and again today.  Asked for my mom - who has never been at this number.  This is my new cell #.  After arguing that I will not give out my mom's number if they don't already have it, they finally gave me a contact name & number to have her call back.  It turned out they were saying she "owed a starter fee for a credit card."  It is a SCAM!  She worked in the mortgage/fraud industry and called me back right away.  There is no way to owe a starter fee.  You pay the starter fee to get the credit card, not the other way around.  She never had a credit card like this or from these people.  Do not fall for it!  It's a scam to get you to pay a starter fee to open a credit card with them... by saying "you owe it."  DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!
