Would love to know what this is about

I received a call from a man who said he had documentation of a felony check fraud...which I know for a fact is not possible.  He gave me this number to call him to "settle" the issue.

I received a call from a number saying that if I didn't call 704-321-4048 number and settle the dispute that a warrant was going to be issued. That the judge was willing to give me the chance to get this settled. I asked what it was about and he said he doesn't answer questions and than hung up on me.... Seems shady

I got a call today same remarks and had the nerve to tell me to govern myself accordingly

This guy and or group are trying to scare scam us into paying money. They called me too!
1) In the US, owing a debt is not a federal crime and you do not get arrested for it!

2) Any US or state's attorney couldn't care less and JUDGES do not 'sign off' on arrest warrants for anything financial

3)  IF we were 'criminals' we would have received all sorts of paperwork requesting court appearances.

4) The 704 number they give you is in another state (at least in my case) and is simply a scammer waiting for you to call up and 'settle' by paying them!

Don't play into these jokers' hands. Trust y our instincts. If you don't believe me and think they are legit, then call the county courthouse where they 'state' this comes from and you can look yourself up online or simply ask the clerk! Arrest warrants and judgments are public information.
