They are so annoying. I have hung up on them, didn't answer only to have them call again, told them to remove my number and not to call again, they persist in calling.  Rude and hateful people.  My number is private but they still are harassing.

I have been getting calls from this number.  The caller told me she is raising money for my volunteer fire department.  It may be true but she is calling from North Carolina and I live in Indiana,

Yep;

 I just got a second call from them today. Same story!
 They called a few months ago and tried to tell Me they we're raising money for "firefighters". I asked them back
  then to - NOT - call Me again.
 The first thing that rubbed Me wrong was that they we're calling from North Carolina and We're in Colorado!
 The second glitch in their spiel was that They asked for Me by my first name instead of my surname. Since they didn't know
  Me personally I thought that was pretty rude.
  These scams have become so rampant that We no longer give any money at all to callers and/or to charity by mail.
  If we don't have close personal knowledge of the organization through church and/or - local - face to face non profits
  what little We have to spare stays in our pockets.

Got a call again from 704-257-2139 this morning. This time they just lurked on the other end until I hung up.
Call was at 09:17 MST.
Note: The call just shows up as "Charity"!
They have been asked NOT to call Us but, they persist.

This is really getting old.
