Just waste their time ... make it sound like you do have $10,000 of credit card debt spread out across 4 credit cards, you can't see how you'll be able to pay it off anytime soon, and you would really like to lower your rate. Get them salivating to make a sale ... then stall, say "wait a sec, I need to get the door" ... let they stay on the line then waiting until they eventually hang up. Perhaps *then* they will take you off their list.

This is a scam from a credit card company, don't take there calls beware!!

My mom gets calls from this number almost 2 times a day. Its such crap! They hang up on you but keep calling. Its really starting to piss us off. Next time they call im gona play along and try to get more info to find out who they are and what the 'company' name is. If anyone else finds out what their name is or a way to block them please post cuz im reporting them to the BBB.

Some may have "governors" but not all so it's still worth a try. Save your own lungs -- 5 year old kids apparently love screaming into phones.
