You can choose to do anything you want to do with your phone, and your report is certainly appreciated.
But it's a little presumptuous at this point to label the call as "spam" and/or to suggest that others reading your posts do so at this point without more information. The call could, for all we know now, be a one-off manually-dialed wrong number. Many of these sorts of calls (particularly from elderly callers using a landline who do not have voice mail) may be from callers who are not be aware that you have it or are too embarassed to stay on the line after they realize they made a mistake.
And, in this case, a number and possible name may be listed, as well. Enter their number into http://www.spydialer.com and follow the directions there to see. I did, and I found a possible name and number match. Spydialer is a limited, free search engine that can sometimes be useful, especially when it can reach and record a voice mail greeting.
Remember, too, that not everyone posts their name and phone number on the Internet where it can be be searched and displayed by Google.
