Representing themselves as Royal Stars Sweepstakes.  Original contact person was Jack Bowman, phone #202-888-2779.  A friend of mine was told he had won over $350,000.  However, he needed to send them $1,165 as a "bond," as insurance, etc. in case check got lost in mail.  Supposedly, check was to be sent to him via Federal Express, along with another check for $1,165 to reimburse him for his "bond"  check.  (Mr. Bowman first wanted my friend to send a larger amount, saying it was for taxes, fees, etc.  Mr. Bowman later called back, saying taxes, etc., would just be taken out of the winnings beforehand instead.  That's when the amount Royal Stars would require was much lower - the "bond/insurance" of $1,165.
