Calls from this # show as BECKLEY, WV on Called ID.  I have received more than 5 calls at various times throughout a week on an unpublished number.  Never leaves a message on my voice mail.  At the least I would like the number investigated and prosecuted , so the unwanted calls stop !

REPEATED hang ups over past few days.

FINALLY got an answer when I called back... originally it would ring once then go dead. Now, you get 'Please hold and wait for 1st available representative" BS and "Not a Sales Call" for a while until someone finally comes on the line.
Lady says she is Virgin Outsourcing Inc. and snotty as hell which elicited a response from me that was just as #$%^&* NASTY!
Been calling for the idiot that had my number about 8-10 YEARS AGO!!!
When 1st got this number I put up with calls for a couple years then calmed down.. Started back up for a few months about 3 years ago until their pharmacy called to inform them their scripts were all ready. Well, they were all canceled since "I" changed pharmacies. That stopped all use until this flood of hang ups from 2 numbers that started on same day; can't go get a cup of coffee, make a meal of even take a dump w/o phone ringing from these morons.
Lady said she was removing the number... guess will find out if I do not get another call in next few hours/today!
Why can't these prix use a telephone directory/web search for the people they want?!?

I have been getting calls from various 304 exchange numbers showing Beckley WV as the caller ID for probably 2 or 3 years now.  Once someone wanted me to give them a credit card number to renew my FOP membership and for awhile I think they were claiming to be collecting donations for breast cancer research.  These calls seem to come in waves and then stop for a couple of months. Around Christmas the FOP scam started up again using the number (304) 362‑619‍6 and showing Beckley WV as the caller ID.  When someone would be on the line they said it was time to renew my FOP membership again.  I live outside Wheeling WV so it is not uncommon to get cell phone calls that just show the originating city.  I have never given to breast cancer research or had an FOP membership so I am not sure how they got my number.  I have just included this information as the posters above noted that their caller ID showed Beckley WV as the caller ID and am not sure if these scammers are related.  Today I got a call from  681-220-5287 and the caller ID showed Convergent Res.  I answered the phone and an automated recording began playing.  It stated that the caller had an important business message for a name I could not recognize though it was not even close to anyone living at my house.  It said if you are Monty Mark, the name they were calling for, please press 1, If I was Monty Mark but could not talk right now press 2, If I was someone else besides Monty Mark but that he lived at this number please press 3, If I was someone else besides Monty Mark but could tell them where they could reach Monty Mark press 4, If I was not Monty Mark and he did not live at this number please press 5.  I pressed 0 in the hope that it might connect me to a human being that might better explain why they were calling me?  Well the computerized voice just responded that they were sorry but they did not recognize my input????   In desperation I pressed 1 and the voice responded to hold the line for the next available representative. Actually in a very short time I was connected to a man who immediately asked if I was Monty Mark.  I told him I wasn't but wanted someone to explain why your company was calling me for someone who as far as I knew never had anything to do with my number or residence or that I had never even heard of.  As the final insult he cut me right off and said that he had important business that he could only discuss with this Monty guy and that I had wasted his valuable time by not pressing 5 like I should have!!!!  I wanted to yell back at him that his time was no more valuable than my own personal time but before I could get anything out he hung up.  These morons don't seem to understand that.
