Called work number. no reply. One of many different numbers every week. Call them back and it wont ring. If you get a take me off list option and press the number you will receive twice as many calls. They call my cell phone every week as well. Random numbers from random states. The one connection between my work and cell phone is I have used both to receive pincodes to get back into client email accounts that have been locked. I blame all the emails that require phone calls or texts to prove you are a real person to get back in locked accounts. My work life and personal life have been infiltrated by these calls every week at random times of the day and night. This has been going on for the last year. If you speak to a real person they will have forced American accent, but you can tell there real accent origin is from India. They call under the guise of many companies: free home security system, fix your credit, preapproved business loans, IRS tax fraud..etc Always from different numbers that don't even work when you try to call back. IT NEVER ENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started getting several of these calls a week, always from a different Alabama or Georgia number.
They start out "Hello, this is Amy with Recovery Help Line...." at that point I hang up. They're calling my work issued phone and it's really annoying.

I work in dispatch at a police station and have rec eived many different calls like you described. And if you do get to speak to a person and tell them to take the number off their list they just hang up.
