rcvd several calls from this number stating they need to speak to me about a case number against me. big time scam.

yea just got a call from that number. and the guy just started talking. Said my cell number was listed as a fraud number. what? What a jerk. Its a scam..

Received a call from this number, but I didn't answer it.  The voice mail said that there was a case number attached to my phone number. HELLO, cases aren't attached to your number, they are attached to your name.  The caller didn't even know my name.  IDIOT

Received a "nasty" voicemail from a male stating "Your case will be turned over to authorities if we do not hear back from you today" However, he failed to leave a name in which this case was about. I called the number back and said "I am returning someone's call in regards to a case. I have not nor has anyone in my household ever lived in Georgia" he stated "Our offices are in Georgia" me "what offices and what is this about" he states "I am unable to discuss this matter with you as I need (my husbands name) permission" I said "I give you permission to discuss this with me as I have power of attorney, and what is the name of your facility" he then gets pissy and says "Well our offices are in Georgia" I said "I got that part but what is the name and what do you do" he says "I cant discuss that with you until I hear from (my husbands name) stating I have permission " I said "I have power of attorney I give you permission what is the name of your facility and what is this about, if you will give me this information I will give you what you are wanting" He then states "We will forward this information about the case on to the authorities and a copy sent to your home address if you will jsut repeat your address...I said "I havent given you that information during this call and if you have my husbands name then you tell me what my address is" and he says "Ma'am I will not tell you again that we can not discuss this with you" I said "what is the name of your facilty" he says "Sterling Law Group" then I ask "what type of law are your practicing?" He hung up. This conversation had red flags all over it. 1. No specific name 2. states there is a case associated with my telephone number (which is in my name) but gives my husbands name 3. will not tell me what type of law he practices 4. states that he will forward a copy to our address but needs the address...hello retards you are scammer and now have been reported. If you google the Sterling Group it comes back to a law firm in California of which I called and they stated that they are an estate law firm and have no affiliation to the scam in which is currently ongoing with the individuals who called me.
