CallerID shows BCFA. The call was made while I was out of the house. The caller hung up before the answering machine could respond so my AT&T uVerse call log shows the call as unanswered.

It didn't take much digging to find this one: http://www.bbb.org/utah/news-events/news-rele ... ies-right-here/ - rated as the "Second Worst Charity in the United States", actually passing along only 8% of donations for actual charitable purposes. The number is not spoofed (calling back gets you a pre-recorded message), added to our call blocker.

**SCAMMERS** pretending to be a charity...

Do not give to 'charities' who do active calling to random people. They are ineffectively ran and if you are LUCKY .99cents of every $1 of YOUR money is going toward paying for that NEW Mercedes they have to drive...

Seriously folks, these cats make a very GOOD living off YOUR HARD earned dollars!!!

In some cases, charities get nothing, or they can end up paying fundraisers more than they take in, leaving them with a loss.
