Prerecorded "Julia" from "ADT-Honeywell" offering "free" home security system.

Got a call from this number today and id says U Name.  I have call blocking and it blocked this caller, whoever they are.  I have all numbers set up on my okay list with my call blocker.  So if anyone else calls, I figure they are scammers and rip-off artist trying to steal from good people.  There must be enough of people falling for their scams to keep the scammers with enough money in their pockets to keep changing phone numbers.  You'd think the phone companies would catch this.
Everyone keeps hoping the government will fix this problem.  In my opinion, the phone companies should be the ones to fix the problem.  This is where it happens from after the scammers get the phone numbers.  So I believe the phone companies should be accountable.

Called, I didn't answer of course. Left no message. I agree with Bebe, phone companies are responsible. That's who we pay.

Agree, phone companies should provide unlimited call blockers free of charge.  I bought a call blocker and am fast reaching limit.  Crazy.
Also FL DMV sells your information to marketing companies so never give your phone number to them.
