Have received several calls but no message on my cell phone. The caller ID just had the number and noted that they were from Maryland. I am on the US "no call list" so these calls are very annoying. I never answer if I don't know who they are. What gets me steamed is if my kids accidentally answer and I have to pay long distance fees. ugh

They call you a redneck because these fraudulent calls are from India or Pakistan. The spoof the numbers.

These are scam calls. Don't click on any Links provided here. HTTPS is a secure link. The link above is http which could be malware. If you search ftc.gov, you'll find the legitimate web site. These numbers are spoofed and emanating from India or other foreign countries. They could have gotten some of your personal information from Facebook.

They called me and said I had failed to sign up for my extended warranty on my car. I told them I knew they were a scam, the rep said no they weren't and I should be glad somebody was letting me know I had failed to pay my warranty. I hung up on her and blocked the number.

Have called 2 days in a row when I specifically requested, and they confirmed, that I was taken off the list. When the female today asked for the name of the person I spoke to the day before I said I didn't. I then asked for her name and she hung up on me.
