Yet another unwanted call from this invalid Kern County invalid number arrived today, just 2 weeks since the last call on Oct. 19.  Once again, when the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space.  This is typical of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who use automated dialers to troll the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to rip off.

Scam artists specialize not only in telemarketing thievery, but also in covering their tracks by spoofing non-working numbers such as (661) 685-2544.  Cut them off at the point of contact.  Let your answering machine take their unwanted calls.

11/10/16 9:37 PST  Just tried to call again, but because of blocker, only rang once.  Hopefully, the message will register that this is not a fruitful number and will be deleted from their call list.

If you want Peace in your life, either block 661-685-2544 or just ignore it. It's a scam and hanging up and letting it roll to voice mail doesn't stop them. They just keep calling and calling and calling. I just hit "off" and it stops the ringing. So sick of these scammers / robocalls / telemarketers that won't identify themselves and use numbers that you cannot call back.

This number has called several times, and they hang up when it goes to answer machine. Today, I answered, and they said they're with Home Advisor (Homeadvisor.com). They're selling things to do with fixing up a house (painting, roofing, etc.). The video was running when they called, so I captured their response on the speaker phone. I asked the woman where she was located, and she said she was in my city, they're local, "right down the street." I asked for the name of major street in my city, and she said a street I'd never heard of. I then knew it was a scam. I said I would report her to the Do Not Call List. She said, "You can report yourself to Hell." Then she hung up. I have this on tape.

11/28/16 10:03 PST  Just never give up, do they?  Have been blocked for months but can't seem to accept no answer.
