Man speaking of Indian English decent says there are many messages from my computer indicating Microsoft is receiving messages that there have been many messages delivered to them indicating someone is trying to access my computer.  Really?

Except that the toll-free number he asked me to call back on this evening -- 888-279-1291 -- is NOT, in fact, Microsoft's technical support line. Plus which, he called me on my cell phone, which Microsoft can't possibly have. Bogus.
