Called and hung up when machine came on. Called number back and said could not connect me because that number was incorrect. They just called. How is that possible.

Do a search on "Phone Number Spoofing" for an explanation.  Bottom line, the number displayed on caller ID is not the actual number that called you.

Danny from "Build a Dream"? called wanting to do home improvements. He followed up with a call the following week from 661-235-5424. I talked to him just to get his name and company name and number. He gave me 855-211-0201 as the call back number. The second time he called he said he was from "VDI". It sounded like he was calling from a call center.
