Many calls, says unknown on ID. Never leaves mess

Called late in the evening. Caller ID said UNKNOWN. Did not leave a message. Now blocked.

Have received numerous calls from this number. Have never picked up. Usually no message is left, but on the latest call, the caller failed to hang up soon enough. My answering machine picked up several voices chattering in Spanish in the background. How do you say phone scam in Spanish?
