This is (one of many) criminal extortion scams that have been going on for years. They are using VOIP and/or disposable cell phones to disguise their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to trace and prosecute. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting victims' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

same guy just called me had all my info and said there is a law suit out against me and o Will be getting papers this week when I,said really and laughing he said just wait for the papers and hung up. 10minutes later I called him back and answered wI th a different name, I gave him false information he to hang on he said are you,ok he said this is a law firm don't waste my,time

Someone with a funny accent called.  Claimed to be with James Patterson Law Firm.  He said his name was Daniel Lewis.  The phone number is 661-243-3215.  Claimed he was calling and I had to return the phone call to "his" senior attorney.  The phone number shows up as Bakersfield.  Though he claims he is in Los Angeles.  The James Patterson Law firm 619 398-4760
info@pattersonlawgroup.com  there's a link to it, if anyone else needs this number to check to see if the claim is real or not.  The man claimed they were going to supeona me to court, take money from my job, and sue me.  But never did say what for.  IT shook me up quite badly, and had my heart racing, wondering what in the hell was taking place. Funny thing, when  you call back, the voice always sounds the same, along with the same person who is in charge of giving away Grant Money for college, has the same line really, and I think that's how they found me. Trying to find grants to go to school. that really blows you know.  May the fleas of a thousand camels infest their armpits and bungholes.

Left a vm as I don't answer unknown numbers and it was from the James Patterson law firm number. (661) 243-3215    and Yada Yada Yada charges against me ugh...I hate this.
