I had the same thing.  He called me at work and I hung up on him.  This is my JOB!  He called back and wanted to talk to my supervisor!

Hi I stay with my girlfriends parents and her mother keeps receiving these phone calls from so called Officer David Jones, Officer Patrick Bell and Officer Mike "forgot the last name of that one" and also call her work and ask to talk to her supervisor. She contacted the police and gave them the info and they said there had been other phone calls...Okay? So what is going to be done in this situation? Thats why Im asking if anyone on here has found a way to stop these harassing phone calls.

Her husband and I have personally spoke to these people "well actually they all sound like the same guy" and I told them that I was aware of there scam and that they weren't getting any money and that I was recording the phone call and told them were to go "not nicely" and all he could say is "I dont care let me talk to her" So if anyone has any information how to handle this matter I would appreciate it because it seems the police aren't doing much help.

I had the same happen to me today. Saying that i was under investigation and he said his name was Jack Dawson. he is a middle eastern guy. IT IS A SCAM. Seriously a middle eastern dude with the name Jack Dawson DUH. he threatened to call my job and have me fired unless i pay money. he had my SSN and full name. Of corse im not gonna give my bank info to him that would be stupid. But i am concerned since he has my SSN and Name that identity theft might happen. REPORT HIM ANY WAY YOU CAN. There is a place that deals with stuff like this its the FTC google it and get phone number to report him.

I had the exact same call. Yesterday and just now, on both my cell phone and my work.  Who do we report this to????

These people have called me several times.  Stating his name was Office White from some Investigation Services and they had my personal information and they were going to take legal action against me for something.  They called both my cell phone and my work phone.  He did not speak very good English.  How do we get this to stop?
