Missed a call and then called it back to hear I reached a "non working number"!

Just received a call that went to the answering machine. We don't answer calls from numbers we are not familiar with and we have our answering machine set for 7 rings before answering. They only let the phone ring 3 times before disconnecting. If they call again, I'll block the number. Caller ID was from Garden Grove, CA.

Robot message "Congratulations, you won a free trip to the Bahamas."  I hung up.

Got call from this number and caller ID just says its from Garden Grove CA. Starting to get a lot of these telemarketer/spam calls these days and I think its because its public knowledge that the Do Not Call Registry is a joke and the government doesn't take any enforcement action. They just "gather" the data. With today's tech you'd think they could make the phone companies track/trace these or even prevent them from spoofing fake numbers.

Called at 6:27 am California time.
