he says he is from American Express and wants to talk about American Express is not accepted at Costco starting November 2015, and wants me to sign up for special deal for American Express.

Received a call on Sept. 21st 2015 at 12:58 PM and caller ID displayed "unavailable 657-237-2852" and as usual no VM was left. Since no VM was left, the call wasn't important to begin with. Even if a VM is left, is no guarentee on my part that I will call the number back either. I don't answer my phone from numbers that I don't reconize, regardless of who is calling and if they can't leave a VM, then the call wasn't important to begin with. It's sad in this day-n-age, we have to screen our calls before deciding if it's worth answering the phone or not but with all these scams going on, I guess we have no choice but to screen our calls first.

No message left.  Caller ID said Huntington Beach, CA.

So many scam numbers based in California!  Didn't answer.  No VM. If it's someone asking about a credit card, you can be sure they will be asking for all your information so they steal your identity!

Blocked the number ehile I wait for the next scammer to call.

Robo-call from "Stan".  I hung up immediately.
