Been getting these calls for awhile now.  I normally hang up, but this time i pressed "1".  The automated call says that "Our records show that you have not updated your Google Business account... Press one to verify, or press two to be removed from this list."  I am still not sure if legit or not.  My feeling is that it is not, and that the SCAMMERS just want to verify that they have a live number so they can call back and harrass (pressing 1 or 2 would accomplish that either way).

Just received a missed call from this number. No voice message left. I'll just add it to my blocked list after reading all the previous comments.

Got a call from them saying the same -- "This is Google calling to verify your listing.  Press 1 to verify."

I already have my listing verified so I hung up.  Called back and heard this:  "If you'd like to be put on our Do Not Call list, press 1 now."

How to get rid of just about any spammer and make them blacklist your number:
Forget the gov DNC list, they probably sell numbers....!

Pick up, and say in a dry, professional and firm manner hello, "FBI forensic dept" or "Operator Central Intelligence, Sector 5"  or simply "Law Offices" etc

If they say something or ask for the number (they dialed) or anything just repeat dryly and firm the same.
For sure they will blacklist your number themselves as a definite DO NOT CALL!
Ha ha ha!
Fight them with their own methods!
With saying just this reply, I considerable reduced such calls!
