Received call on our landline indicating some type of legal action against us and we need to call to prevent federal offense. Pure BS since he had East Indian accent and gave an English name.

Answered to a robocall which left an only quasi-audible message which mentioned federal crimes, an appearance in court, money, and a hodgepodge of misused legalese. I returned the call, and a woman claiming to represent the US treasury answered, and asked me for my "home phone number" so she could bring up my file. I asked her if she was actually with the US treasury, and after a pause she said "yes." I hung up.
