Caller ID indicated that the call was from Valley Buick GMC, which is a valid business in this area -- it has two business locations.  However, the phone number on caller ID was not a number for this business at either location.  I don't answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize, but I did recognize the name of the business, so I answered it.  The connection was poor, the man (thick accent -- possibly hispanic) asked for me by name, and I immediately asked him what he wanted.  He said something about installation of roofing and started with a rambling pitch that I could barely understand. I hung up immediately.  I also called the correct numbers for Valley Buick and they did not know that their business name had been misappropriated for a scam.
