person asked if this was a business number and refused to tell me anything about their business

The recorded message stated "Welcome to Webex. Please press 1 to be connected to your meeting." Right. Go away!

This is the outbound calling system from WebEx which connects participants to prescheduled conferences.  If it called you in error and you weren't part of a call - someone else probably keyed in your number by mistake.

This is the Webex conferencing number and if you get a call someone did put in your number by accident. I get these calls daily but it is because I am on Webex system daily.

I confirm the above notes: WebEx is a conference call system, much like Microsoft Net Meeting. WebEx offers to connect the voice portion of the meeting by calling the participant back at the phone number that they type in. If you got an unexpected call from this number, someone merely mistyped their own number into the system.

It is not a scam, not a telemarketer. Just a wrong number.
