I set up an appointment & picked late afternoon so they would get caught in rush hour. A local guy shows up and hands me a card for Monarch Builders (CA Entity Number: C3621536)  with a contractors license number on it. I told him I was expecting someone from Superb Builders (CA Entity Number: C3520533). He said it was the same company and showed me a bunch of pre-printed folios that contained their insurance, license number and other stuff. I don't get one of those until I sign a contract.  Now I have enough to take them to court.

Received a call today from a man who said his name was Al Martin, a contractor, who claims he spoke to me last year.
Wanted to know if I needed any work done around the house.  He addressed me by my name even though we have
an unlisted number.  Told him no.  I then re-dialed his number and found the number "was no longer in service".
My neighbor received the same call a few days ago.  I suspect that it is someone calling to see if anyone is at home
as there have been many break-ins in our neighborhood.  I am also on "the do not call list".

I got the same call, same conversation. Caller ID said Pescadero, CA.
Got two other calls, same place different number.
