so yes its  a scam....i mean you can cash the check but go to jail over something not real? nah not worth it

All job offers by fax, text, or email are fake. There used to be an excellent web site that posted & helped people with these fake offers. Sadly gone. fraudwatchers (dot) org is replaced with https://www.scamwarners.com/ Well worth a look. If you don't want to click on the link do an online search, or run a 'whois' registry check.
