DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY TO THIS NUMBER. Don't even claim to be the one they called for. Test to see if they can even pronounce your name right first by using the name of someone else in your family who isn't the homeowner.

I was called by them, and they claimed to be CRA. I called back to see what was going on, saying I wasn't the owner of the house and I would pass the phone to them. I was going to pass the phone to someone else for them to talk to the guy but he hung up before I could even pass the phone.

I put it as "Prank Call", but be aware. They will probably try to get some money off of you or something.

They called and said police calling and identified themselves as an officer with emegency

I just received this call too. I thought it interesting that if I didn't return the call, that the recorded message wished me luck and that he is the only person who can help me. Help me with what I have no idea. In any case, this is very obviously a scam. Don't respond...just hang up and continue what you were doing when so rudely interrupted.

Left a voice mail but obviously the first part of the message missed being recorded.  ...waiting to hear from my lawyer, only person who can help me, wished me good luck. Thick accent, caller. Ignored, but saved msg on  my phone (landline phone)

Called and told me it was urgent that it was an officer from the Canada Revenue Agency and if I did not respond due to this being a time sensitive issue by either myself or my attorney that he couldn't help me and good luck. I could barely understand the broken English and couldn't even make out the name of who they wanted to speak too. Absolute bs and waste of my time, can we say total scam...
