After a quick search on the web I found out that the women who wrote me for the apartment was a fraud professional.

"Julie Zhang" is using a new phone number and new email address.

She texted me from 647-794-1660 and she wrote me from debbieazhangh@gmail.com

Many persons reported her calling them from 254-212-7616

Everything correspond. Same story and details.

I also got a text from 647-794-1660 telling saying "hi,can u kindly mail me if the room is still perfect and available to juliedzhang@gmail.com. thanks"

This person contacted me over the duration I a month with two different names and the same number asking to rent a room. It is a scam. She/he sent pictures of a young girl meant to be pictures of the sender and requested the address of my place, pictures and the total of 3 months rent.

She has a new email.  She texted me saying. "hi..if the room is still vacant and good pls let me know by mailing at janniachan@gmail.com".  

Totally agree with JCP. She is using the same text message "hi..if the room is still vacant and good pls let me know by mailing at janniachan@gmail.com".  However, the story she is trying to sell me on is that she is a cook on a cruise ship and immigrating to Canada. Exact same story, 3 months rent as well and such.

From the story she was telling me, a scammer alert was going off in the back of my head. If you read her stories carefully, you will find plenty of flaws. e.g she plans to live in a hotel before moving in. In my case, 90 days of hotel.
