I got the same letter spoke with a George Evans. I called from our company phone.  I wonder what would happen if I just cashed the check and didnt call them back. I am happy with $3,980.

I got the same letter and I immediately thought the same thing-SCAM and what are they trying to get from me? I agree too, I am reluctant to call the number too. The phone number on mine was the same except the last four digits were 2227.

Received same letter as "noluck" above. Called the number just to mess with them. Of course they want you to send $1995.00 in taxes before they will send you the money. You could supposedly get this from the $3980.00 check they sent you. Do they really think people will fall for this?

i got the same letter back in sept 2012. i did some research and found the company ITOCHU LOGISTICS CORP is some kind of freight company, the bank is real too. i didnt cash the check because the wife said not to. cause the wives are always right.
