received a phone message to call this number. It is an irs scam.  deleted message.

Just received an automated voicemail message stating that they were the IRS and it was time sensitive and of I didn't call back I'd face legal repercussions. Scam.

I just received this call as well and I'm worried. Is it a scam

Left a message so I called back with another number. They answered as the IRS. Tried to pull up my information but the phone I called from is my work phone so all they couldn't pull up anything. I knew right away what was going on so I tried to play around with them. Asking for their IRS number, everyone that works there is required to give it to you, asking how they were pulling up my file when they don't know who I am. Eventually the phone number became disconnected.
