called and told me had several error messages on my Windows computer over the last couple of days..  interesting. It has been unplugged for over a week. no Electricity. Told him give me his number and I would call him back gave me 800-521-4984.  have to give the survey personal info before it will connect yo

This is definitely a scam. A middle eastern man claims I have a virus and it is sending a message to Windows. I told him I will have someone look at it later. He said he will walk me thru it. Then asked what time are they coming.  I immediately got defensive and asked why are u questioning me. Stop harassing me. He called about 5x later that evening.

Yes. They want to get on you computer to either install malware or to disable your computer until you pay up $$$$$.   Block that number!
