Dagger, the same thing just happened to me. I was a little leery of Amona anyway (was directed to them through Trivago), so this makes me even more uncomfortable about booking with them. I had filled in my phone number, etc. but was reading the policies and exited. Right after that I got a call from this number. Not cool. I will register a complaint with Trivago.

Someone called my home to say there is a hotel booking for 2 days- March 10th & 11th for my son. As my son is travelling, we were a bit concerned that perhaps he would have tried to book a hotel for 2 days in England. Checked the area code & realized it was a scam, because the recording on this number dos not allow you to talk to some human being,  Thank God, we did not divulge any info to the scammer. Beware of calls from this number..
