they called me at 630am and I didnt answer they left a message telling me the IRS is suing me and I need to call that number

Got a message stating IRS is filing a lawsuit about "this case" which they didn't say a case # or what case. I didn't call back... is it a scam?

2 calls today. Voice message asked me to call back. No indication of identity of caller or reason for call. I ignore these.
